Thanks ANet for making the game I've played and enjoyed the most. And I hope it'll be the same with GW2.
Merry Christmas!

I guess I'll throw my two cents in as well :
Yes thank you for producing a Game/expansions that is free to play (after purchase). This game has had me coming back constantly for years now and I can honestly say no game has held my attention this long since LoD or CS.
Excellent work.
I am especially thankful to whomever animates , especially spell casting animations , dances , emotes etc etc...they are so fluid and I still admire whoever worked on them having taking Digital Animation for 2 yrs myself.I transformed myself into a Brown Rabbit the other night and proceeded to get drunk (ingame) and actually laughed out loud when the rabbit fell over at certain points..epic.

No, but I paid them. My opinions matter as much as yours but it's you who's using one of the dumbest arguments in the world "HURRR DURR DONT LIKE CAKE YOU JUST BOUGH, MAKE IT YOURSELF"
|
Oh look,. Typical "I'm so leet therefore your anything you say is invalid noob". You and all the other "pro's" sound as much like a broken record as much the rest of us. You want the Tl;DR? All you experts out there are like the guys that show up to the fires I fight. You watch from afar, critiquing, saying how I could have done my job better, and how they would go about doing it "the right way". Yet, watching from afar and talking about what they would do, is about as close they'll ever get to actually fighting the fire. But it's okay to talk smack since their "taxpayers". Fair enough. You pay my salary and are entitled to receive service, but unless you've been in a fire, and KNOW what's going on. Anything you got to say is nothing more than your opinion. You want your opinion to matter? Get on the job, grab a hose line, and go inside with me and see firsthand what actually is going on.
TL;DR - Saying your right is so much easier than proving it.

You're right. Let's get into holiday mode around here.
I say Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it, and Happy Holidays to those that don't.
FyrFytr's Holiday Request
If you have a real tree in your home please keep it watered and away from any flame sources. Especially if it's next to your PC and you're on Guru, lol. Nothing sucks more than losing everything you own on what should be a joyous occasion. Be safe.

This game is one of the longest lasting Christmas presents I have received, Christmas 2005. I have had issues that were swiftly dealt with, and many positive and not so positive updates. All in all a great game, and great support.
Merry Christmas to all the team at Anet and their families, and to the moderators of these forums. Stay safe through the holidays.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to the posters on these forums, too.

I can feel the holiday spirit in here. Aside from the usual gaggle of idiots who came in to suck the soul out.

Seeing as how the mods here decide to remove dissenting opinions in a forum dedicated to opinionated discussion, I'll just say this:
THANK you SO much for all your HARD work this year. The costumes are SO great and it must have taken a LOT of effort and they're DEFINITELY worth the CHEAP price. I just hope that GW2 will be just as AWESOME as GW1 with the NO-grind design and the extremely well BALANCED professions that are ALWAYS welcome in all groups everywhere.
GREAT job...

Yeah, I know. I love how Anet tip-toes around the problems. Address the angry community part of the community for Christ sakes. I mean, I was 100% positive I was buying GW2, now I'm even wary about it >.>.
